I have used diamond polish on a Panerai Saphire crystal and it worked like a charm. No need to worry it wil end up worse. The diamond polish won't scratch up the crystal. It will come out...Removed a...
I found this on the net and it looks like an easy fix. Thought it would be cool to share.

I have a dial that's starting to flake (paint coming loose) and I am looking for the right person to have this redone. It's not a high end watch (microbrand) but the company isn't around anymore so...
the MM600 is a fantastic watch, superbly crafted, high precision movement, very legible and a sheer beast. Loving mine a lot.

With redial I meant replacement dial as panerai will change the T-dial (tritium) for an L-dial (luminova) unless you tell them specifically not to touch anything when sending a watch in for a...
Redial does matter as the value of a redial with luminova will have an effect on the price as it will be less collectible if it originally came with a T-dial.

Guillermo
I believe the F-series (originally) still had tritium (2003)....

I owned both th MM300 and the MM600. First one was the MM300 wich I really liked, doesn't feel like a big watch at all on the wrist (I have 18cm wrists). I found it to be a lovely watch except for...

On the SBDX001 the lume is applied by hand wich gives it a more vintage look. As said above the SBDX017 differs from the 001 in the method of applied lume, the diashield coating and the prospex X on...
A job well done......It takes some real patience and expertise to pull this off.

I also used Cape cod cloth back in the days to remove the AR coating on a Breitling Crosswind (blue dial)...It was easily removed but I ended up having a new crystal installed by the AD as I thought...
Same works the other way round obviously..Buying watches from the UK (and all other items) will be hit with 21% vat + custom handling fees. Buying a watch from UK will be too expensive for after vat...
What makes you think Panerai won't produce one just like it without the Paneristi wording and engraving? You could wait for that if you don't like....Panerai owner myself but feeling more love...
I don't buy from rude sellers....as said above buy the seller not the watch..

Granite worktop edge would do the job......metal sink wouldn't cause such a dink (ouch!)....That's the reason I take my watches of doing house jobs..
Guillermo
I think it looks great...loving the end links...

They start looking dirty when you don't treat them like any other steel watch you own. Letting it patina naturally is the way to go to develope a warm brownish colour..
This one looks awful and as...
I always liked the Tag Heuer Monaco....The square case and chrono dial layout are really appealing..
