Just picked up a new Seiko 5 SNK381K1 which has now been modded using Seiko OEM parts (baton handset & Kanji day wheel) to represent my interpretation of the MACV-SOG Seiko 5 issued watch, whilst not...
I still have my Seiko SKX033 Pepsi (3 o'clock crown) from the mid to late 1990s and my Omega Seamaster 300m Co-Axil Diver from 2006 (box & papers etc)....the Seiko has never been serviced and its...
Looks positive, glad you're getting something with the bracelet....me personally, even though I do like a Jubilee on certain watches I think the Everest line looks better on the Oyster style bracelet...
Great choice, this is the best G-Shock model in my opinion....looks great and is pretty much indestructible.
My Casio GW5610U worked fine and my BB58, well not an issue....
£750 x 44.5mm
I have to agree with the others, I picked up my first G-Shock at the beginning of last year, the GW-M5610-1 with the electro-luminescent back light but this has the american date format which...
Great timepiece, glad its getting the wear it deserves......I agree with the sizing, I have a 1965 Tissot Seastar in 34mm which just seems to suit the watch perfectly especially on the bracelet and...
Not my cup of tea I'm afraid, the design looks like a microbrand....I know it's definitely not, great photos though.
CWC RN Diver on an Erika's Original Black Ops elasticated strap is today's choice...
I'm sorry to say but the Date window ruins it for me....this would be so much better in a No Date version, not a massive Chronograph fan myself well maybe if it was a Speedy.
Coincidently I am wearing my CWC GS20 today, not worn it for a while.....great to see so many military watches on show.
I'm wearing my Benrus Type II this morning....
My Omega SM 300m co-axil falls into this category, I rarely wear it in fact, I probably haven't worn it in the last 5 years (had the piece much longer) but would never sell it as it was a wedding...
After reading through the thread and looking at the renders, for me personally I prefer the watch head with the crown guards and also a case of 36mm instead of the proposed 38mm.
The Honeycomb does look good however, I still prefer it on the Oyster style bracelet but each to their own as they say...
Yes, you are correct....just checked the Tissot website and can't find them either, must admit it was a while back when I saw them as I was looking for an alternative strap for my 40mm PRX at that...
Tissot sell the strap/adaptors also, check their website....I own two of the white dial quartz models, firstly bought the 40mm version but found it wears much bigger so also picked up the 35mm model...
This thread got me thinking about my Willard - black dial (purchased back in 2022) before the edition of the small lume plot next to the date window at the 3.....the crown guards look straight on...
You're correct, should have paid more attention but even so I do think it would look way better with the dial at the 6 position but each to their own I guess.
It does look nice but I agree, what's the point of the sub-seconds dial when there is also a ticking seconds hand as well.....the sub dial would be better suited at the 6 o'clock position to help...
Well done to the Police, if it's making a difference then hats off to them......here's hoping it makes the watch thieves think twice before attempting a robbery.
Just hope the when caught the...
The BB54 looks perfect for your wrist size from the photos, I own the BB58 and do like the look of the smaller BB54 but then again, I have a 7.25 inch wrist and wear watches in my collection from...
I use my Casio G-Shock DW5610U-1ER for all my rough & tumble activities.....it's a fantastic all rounder and can take a beating no problem.
I'm not a big fan of the Jubilee style on the Everest line and still think the range looks way better on the Oyster style, so I'm guessing it will be the same issue in purchasing a new Oyster style...
