Edited to add: oops, didn’’t read carefully. Of the ones above, only the OP34 is under 36....
The Baby Speedbird is probably the better comparison, since it's the same size as the Navigator. And I agree with the above comments - although superficially they look similar, they are very...
Oris. They make great watches, and I want to like them. But something about the way they are designed just leaves me cold.
Tudor. Same. Great watches. Would love to own one and have purchased a...
If you aren’t averse to high accuracy quartz, maybe a GS SBGX261 or other similar in white, silver, or blue. Has a date. Under the radar, but very sharp and well finished.

Any thoughts on making the plexi crystal available for sale separately? Would love to retrofit my Everest with this crystal (not sure if that’s even possible).

The Speedbird (baby or regular) is anti-magnetic and comes on a bracelet, though not an oyster bracelet.
It’s a great watch! Very solidly built and tool-like. Enjoy!

Love the baby speedbird. A very underrated watch.

My 36mm trio: Land (Tag Heuer Carrera CS3111), Sea (Omega Seamaster 300M 2252.50), and Air (IWC Pilot 36 IW324010)

Lots of good suggestions. I have both a GS 37mm quartz (sbgx261) and a midsize omega Seamaster (2252.50). Both are great options. Also the Tudor BB36 as folks have suggested. The older 36mm omega...
The Speedbird 36 is a great (and underrated) watch. Very solid build and more of a "tool" feel than the Navigator, which I appreciate. I'd also get the GMT if it were offered. The hour hand on the...
Count me in! I just recently got the baby speedbird and absolutely love it. Doesn't get as much attention as the others (e.g. navigator, everest), but it's a terrific tool watch.
Definitely very noticeable at first for me, as this was my first miyota. But after a while, I find I stopped noticing it, so you get used to it.

Ah thanks. Looks very nice. I’ve tried a few aftermarket oysters, but haven’t had luck with the end links. Will keep looking.

Looks lovely. What bracelet do you have on it? I notice it’’s lacking the rivets.

Thanks so much, Eddie. Very much appreciate this, as I know that you are swamped with fulfilling orders. I sent you an email yesterday, so hopefully mine is included in the ones that you have...
Still waiting for mine. :(. It has been stuck at Castle Donington since Sep. 21, with its status alternating between “Held” and “In transit”.
Same here, since Monday. Hope it starts moving soon (to the US).
Thanks for the explanation - that's very helpful. I wasn't aware that there were Processing/Shipping #s as well, as Eddie didn't mention them in his explanation. (That's why, when he wrote "Both...
Not to prolong this thread, but to be fair to Mart54, Eddie said that the next 36mm Everest to be shipped is 7677, and Mart54's order for a 36mm Everest is number 7644. So even under that...
