Ah that's a shame, it was in the display window with their other watches and had a price and no exhibition only sign so that's not cool from Tudor

Ah yes damn I forgot Bucherer did pre owned watches. Makes sense now as I did think it odd that would be a walk in watch!
Not sure how difficult these are to get but Westfield Shepherd's Bush the Tudor boutique has the standard FXD and the Red Bull as a walk in. Same mall in Bucherer has the Omega blue dial Bond...
I think Rolex watches must be very disappointing in the metal as I keep seeing people going into the AD to buy a Rolex but leaving empty handed.
Yeah I understand the sharing part but what I was trying to highlight is that they are clear that they will create a profile of you for marketing reasons.
Now many marketing platforms do this...

Goldsmiths is part of WOS hence the correlation with the Biography part of the checklist listed earlier
41mm and SS only not fluted
Air King is your friend.
TBH with a much softer market (my local M&W had a blue DJ available to buy) I reckon the rules will change rapidly and they'll apply that to Daytona, Pepsi, SS Skydweller...
That's the WOS group checklist. I know someone who used to work at M&W who went through it with me
For now maybe.
But once the heat dies out of the market and these are just a gaudy dialled OP and not a meal ticket then demand will be just those folks who want a gaudy dialled OP which will be a...
Didn't ask to be fair as I want the celebration OP but thought it was hilarious that a month ago there was no way to get me on an 'expression of interest' list for an Explorer for an AD I've spent...
Yeah I heard the same from my AD, basically the 'no chance you are getting a celebration dial OP' is now 'probably 6 months but I can get you an Explorer within a couple of weeks'.
Also same AD...
I know before all the madness happened that was de rigeur with the Laureatos but then they started trading at 30% above list. I'll check out the greys as 30% off today would be hard to turn down
...
On a similar note to Wiley and yes I know this isn't Rolex but since the madness started the GP Laureatos were selling way over RRP and had become very hard to get.
Bucherer has all the SS models...
OK thanks that's useful to know cheers.
Does anyone have experience of waiting times for the new EXP 1 40mm? I'm hoping to be in a position to think about buying watches again at the start of next year and I'd like one of those.
Yep a joke lol. Still have it!
Actually I sold it today and ended up losing money on it as WF only offered me £6.5k and I paid RRP of £7.5k a week or so ago so there you go guys, sign of the times [emoji6]
Indeed I did, wearing it now :)
Good. I managed to get a ND Sub today from Mappin and Webb. To wear! Buying a Sub because I want to wear it. Strange I know!
Hopefully I'll be able to get a Daytona soon. Again, to wear. Madness...
Fear is usually worse than reality so when it comes to what may or may not happen in a recession then current market sentiment is reflective of what will happen to the Rolex market and that is still...
To be fair this process just means foreign visitors have to abide by tax laws in their own countries as opposed to smuggling in undeclared watches and avoiding tax. The discount % for UK residents...
To be fair the ADs are providing free lube for those wishing to buy a Rolex from them. And the tables they bend you over are nice and padded.

Interestingly AP is MUCH easier to buy here although they've moved to a Boutique only system and you need an appointment. No Royal Oak but the Divers appear to be there to buy as well as the Code...
