For those that have an EV and want to avoid the increase of tax next year (for 12 months anyway), below is a YouTube video of how to realign to 1 March 2024.
Just done mine (was due 1 June) and...
I’m in same boat as you but a lot can change in two months (tariff on 6 hours valid until May). Will have to wait and see…

Not a chance is it costing £45 for 500 miles if truly charging off-peak. Might be worth making sure a schedule is set on your charger or switch to Octopus Intelligence.
Our iPace costs about £6.75...
As said above, it’s car or charger that needs to be compatible.
If you pick a suitable charger then theoretically you could use the bonus hours with more than one car, if needed (standard hours...
Had an I-Pace for almost 9 months and absolutely love it so far. Such a fun car to drive and is very practical too. I’ve not had any issues so far.
Approved Used will get you a finance...
Who is your car salary sacrifice provider? I’m in the same tax bracket and via ours (Tusker) a Taycan was still £8-900pm (£1,500 gross). Silly rates quoted.

We also have Tusker and the rates are horrendous

Everybody talking about cost - for somebody that rarely does long journeys, I can’t tell you how nice it is to wake up to a fully charged car and not have to visit a petrol garage. Even if it cost me...
Yes, and for Intelligent you need a specific vehicle with Tesla being included.
Although slightly irrelevant at the moment as it’s not the current price but I took my fix out in July and off-peak...
Surely your on an EV energy tariff like Octopus Intelligent? Yesterday I got 12 hours charging at 7.5p per kWh.

If money were no object and it was on the front of my house, I’d be going for the Andersen A2 (founders of Simpson & Partners). Our neighbour has one and it looks very sleek.

If not already and depending on current electricity tariff, have a look at Octopus Intelligent for 6 hours + off-peak charging @ 10p per kWh.
Peak is more expensive than current cap but you do...
I see you’re in Oxfordshire; map below gives you an idea of the free ones, blue are 7kWh and there is a 50kWh at the Waitrose in Abingdon…

It's a long shot but check to see whether you are near any free BP Pulse chargers (you can filter on the app). We are very fortunate to have 2x 50kWh and 3x 7kWh chargers in the Premier Inn opposite...
ID5 has an 11kWh onboard charger, fully charging in 8 hours on 3 phase or 12hrs on a single phase 7kWh chargers

Get yourself onto an EV tariff, the off-peak rates have pretty much stayed the same; costs me about £6 from 0-100.

Get yourself on an Octopus Go or Intelligent EV tariff; they are still working out pricing following the governments announcement but I’m currently paying 7.5p per kWh Off Peak on Octopus Intelligent...
Nope, both 50kWh and 7kWh chargers are free

It’s in a Premier Inn car park but free with a BP Pulse membership (£7pm), we received a 12 month complimentary membership with the car.

Picked up a Jaguar I-Pace at the weekend, very fortunate to have a free BP Pulse 50kwh charger in the car park opposite us which will give us a full charge in a little over an hour.
Loving the BEV...
