Not a chance is it costing £45 for 500 miles if truly charging off-peak. Might be worth making sure a schedule is set on your charger or switch to Octopus Intelligence.

It's a long shot but check to see whether you are near any free BP Pulse chargers (you can filter on the app). We are very fortunate to have 2x 50kWh and 3x 7kWh chargers in the Premier Inn opposite...
