Lovely.
Is there really much demand for these brands?
This is true, however once it has happened it totally changes your mindset.
When I have a BB58 a few years ago I have more comments from people of “nice Rolex” than when I wore a Rolex.
Anyone who thinks a Tudor is under the radar is in my opinion mistaken.
I would consider a Rubber B strap on your Explorer which will keep it more under the radar.
SwimSkin Alligator maybe?
LOL - It certainly looks like it!
Lovely watch but it looks huge in that picture.
Agreed, it was always difficult to get a Daytona even when ever other watch was in the window and offered at a discount.
Its WF so no but they have advised for Rolex repairs/ services they use a accredited Rolex watch repairer.
I do remember a few years ago while in Russell Talerman there was a big box of watches...
Watched it Saturday and really enjoyed it.
You could also consider an older Rolex AirKing.
I recently picked one up and they wear lovely on the wrist and feel bigger than the dimensions would suggest. 34W x 43L x 11H.
My wrist is 7 1/4”
I guess its possible but I cannot see why the after sales team would lie about the job sheet submitted by the watchmaker. Plus it will come with a 2 year warranty so covered for that period.
While I would have preferred not to return the watch under warranty and any issues identified were repaired prior to selling it, I am remaining positive as the dealer is rectifying the problems. I...
As you say it doesn’t really matter now as the watch is having a full service plus there was a tiny pin prick chip on the crystal and that’s also being replaced. I have had it confined that only...
There is one on SC now from Oct 21 for £4k.
Passed the Covent Garden store earlier today while going to Apple. They had some in this morning but all sold out within a few hours.
It seems the demand is still strong!
I have been considering an Erika strap but there seems to be mixed opinion on quality and price. As I would require a 19mm there doesn't seem to be a lot of choice available in this type of strap.
...
Looks really good on that strap. What is it?
Just to update the post.
I spoke to the dealer today and the issue has been diagnosed as a misaligned hairspring. The part will be replaced under warranty plus they will also carry out a full...
Nice what size case is if?
So it’s an AirKing 5500 which has had a Explorer dial fitted at some point.
Cheap retro classic!

HAGWE
Would have that any day over a Richard Millie of similar value.
It's truly outstanding and now ON HOLD!
Pot luck!!
