Did you leave it a good 40 mins with out the battery in before putting the new one in? I took mine to an Omega dealer for a battery change and it came back the same as your's. They said it needed a...
Many thanks for the advice, I've decided to go with DHL who seem to one of the few main stream companies who you can fully insure with. So fingers crossed all goes smoothly.

Great stuff, thank you. Think the chap might be sorting it from his end.
Hi, hope you don't mind helping a lapsed member. I have sold a watch on E-Bay for way above what I expected to get for it! The problem is it's to expensive for Ebay's Global Shipping Program. It...

As a point of interest, I sold this one on E-Bay earlier in the year and it made £750 in need of a service and no boxes :?

I got £390 for this one on E-Bay the other week.
Not a bad price as the bezel was glued :? down, it had been relumed, the spring bars were fixed as the holes had enlarged over the years and the...
No problems here when I froze a Seiko  for a RLT photo comp years ago.

They did my bosses watch when it died. No issues he just sent it off and they returned it working  That was a couple of years ago and it's still going strong.
Just as well as I was tasked...
Having bought a Seiko 6138 with a rather poor bracelet I decided to get a better one and JMK500/Mr. SEIKO off E-bay seemed to have just the job. As it turned out while my bracelet was on route from...

Thanks pal...please do let me know.
Actually, didn't ask before but why 6138 end pieces?
To fit a Seiko 6138 instead
He lists the complete bracelet for a 6139 but end...
Strangely that's not the exact case :? The bezel finishes just short of the rest of the case. So yes you could get away with a normal strap. At least compared to mine.

That's one of Jonathan Koch's aka Swedefreak on TheWatchSite (SCWF). I shall be very surprised if you are not 100% happy with anything you buy from Jonathan.
Kind regards

Hi, I have one of these on route.
E-bay listing 250961658014 but with 6138 end pieces.
Looks OK but will find out for sure when it arrives.

Mine currently on Hirsch Rallye strap the one with the big holes suits the watch fine until you look a the end where the lugs are and see this "unfinished" bit. Like a scratch on a watch you always...
  You would be a braver man than me. The trouble is the bezel slightly over hangs the gap between the lugs with the rest not quite so well finished. So anything other than an end piece...
I just have had the same dilemma great watch but really needs a bracelet as the way the case is finished, it "looks untidy" between the lugs with a strap.
I'm waiting for this to arrive from...
There's a pocket watch forum over on RLT that might be able to help.
