You'll struggle to fit a thick strap on the Steeldive.
The dipstick normally tells you that you are about 1l short if on minimum, so if after adding 1l, you see at least something on the dipstick, you certainly will not be dry of oil.
Anyone know where you can buy just the seat belt clasp as used on the Omega sharkmesh bracelets? I see Strapcode do one but maybe there is a UK supplier?
Noooooo, another one on the list!
I didn't realise this was a copy of an actual watch. What is it based on? Might have to do a bit of research on that one too. The Grand is ordered now!
I don't mind the logo. Wouldn't be able to...
Never had a Seiko I kept for very long. Not sure what it is about them, but there is something missing. Had 5 Steeldives now and you're right, most have also gone, but I do actually think they are a...
Thanks for that. Never used Ali Express but maybe I should give them a go!
The other Steeldive Ploprof thread got me interested in the new version with the monobloc design, so did a little research to check it out (I already have the original Steeldive Ploppy) and noticed...
I reckon it would suit the MK3 well. Let me know if you don't get on with yours!
Both great looking flightmasters by the way. Had one years ago and missing it now!
That looks like the bracelet I have but like Sinnlover, I am a bit concerned about its security. My clasp is stamped No.12 but the bracelet taper looks the same as yours. I do like the look of the...
Looking on the WatchObsession site, they only seem to do a 21/16mm Forstner BULLET bracelet (with Straight Ends). Is that what you are using? I am in a similar situation to you with my original Omega...
Made in India. Seems to be the way of things these days.
Is that a good old Alpha 4-1?
Just a piece of pipe, but what a sound on the GS and GSX motors.
Still got points on my old GS1000 and won't be modernising for the same reasons you have found. Procedure for set up is well explained in the manual and was almost a pleasure to tweak in. Didn't...
Put Mutants on the old BMW. I have chunky tyres on the original cross spoke wheels and fitted Mutants on some cheap Scrambler cast wheels so now have decent choices! Haven't done many miles on them...
Screwfix normally have good deals on Milwaukee. Love my stuff.
I don't like to brag, but I have to say that it sounds like a caged, very angry Tiger. There is something very animal about it, like nothing else. And I just replaced the Keihan Jota pipes with some...
Oh no, not Mr Minton. Another character from the legendary Laverda story no longer with us. I think he was more a 180 man, but here is my 120.

Can't believe no-one has mentioned Jimi!
That's a relief. Not just me then!
Thanks, I did try that email but it is no longer valid. Maybe the phone will work.
I noticed quite a few recommendations for Lee Costello to transport a bike a few pages back. Does anyone have a number or email for him please? Is he only contactable through uShip?
