That's interesting, I'm sure it used to be that Omega would send watches over a certain age on to STS.

There's someone on here who occasionally puts up WTBs for the bits to make full sets, it's fairly obvious but I wouldn't buy from them anyway.
If a watch doesn't come with its original paperwork...
Good question, I would imagine they would charge too. If you do opt to send the watch to Omega in sunny Southampton it's worth checking with them if they would simply forward it to STS or do it...
If it doesn't bother you, you can buy a MB biro and buy rollerball refills that fit. Not MB but another make, I did this and bought the refills in WHSmith. Biros are cheaper than rollerball.
It was before I joined this place and the watch is long gone.
My point was more to do with making sure dealers understand they need to give this stuff to the customer. If enough people complain...
I think I PMd you about that months later but you'd sold it elsewhere. But then I only became interested in pens again during lockdown.
When I bought my first Rolex (from a Goldsmiths) I had it resized on collection and only later realised they'd 'forgotten' to give me back the spare links. Of course when I rang up they told me there...
I bought my 146 through a WTB on here and am very happy with it but I wouldn't pay the new price considering the alternatives out there. I'm more into my vintage pens though.
I have been trying to...
I would believe it. People are idiots and think their cars are their fortresses. There's a spot near us that floods and the number of idiots who try to drive though it is remarkable. Usually the road...
I am as certain as I can be (without having a test) I had it in March and it knocked me out for the next three months or so. Only now am I starting to feel properly better. I'm 47 and while not...
Have you seen the clip of him kicking his own leg? It's not as clear as it might first have looked.
It would have been great had we won! But yes, no regrets on that one other than a couple of silly individual mistakes to concede goals and not taking our chances better. At least both goalies were...
Pour it on your chips?
Wipe the wiper blades with vinegar. Sorted.
Sigh, it is my old Marine Chronometer. I do miss it!

We have a lot of red kites around, considerably more than even five years ago. Perhaps a contribution?
I seem to recall the module gives up due to glue inside failing or something like that.
You're right about a re-release, that would be superb, especially if they could keep them the same size as...
I think Mr Curta's MC is my old watch. STS serviced the analogue/mechanical part of it but from what I understand the quartz module is the bit that goes kaput and there's nothing you can do about it...
Come back tomorrow after you've played Villa.
How very dare you! I bet you own at least one pair of leather trousers.
Funnily enough I once had to borrow a spark plug from Vernon Dudley Bohay-Nowell (of the Bonzo Dog Band) when one of the primer cups blew off the top of the engine of my old Bean 11.9. It had a very...
It's interesting we were linked so heavily with Benrahma and yet we ended up playing almost 50% more for Watkins instead. He's a blinding player. Not as many goals so far as you might have thought...
Best: Lock & Co pith helmet. Worst: having told everyone (again - every sodding year) I don't want sweets and chocolate for Christmas, all the sweets and chocolate I was given for Christmas. As soon...
Chelsea played incredibly well last night to restrict us to a 1-1 draw but we really should have been taking all three points from a team below us.
I have two watches (Exp2 42mm and MM300) I find uncomfortable to wear on their bracelets (and the crown of the Exp2 digs into the the back of my hand) but both are extremely comfortable on Erika's...
