Thanks for the reply Sir, much appreciated.
This is the fund my recently started pension with Aviva is allocated to. It's the default fund and is relatively low risk. Thoughts and observations from those in the know much...
Quick update in case anyone's interested. My accountant made me aware of the tax benefits at different levels of pension contribution and it does make a difference to my tax liability, particularly...
I wouldn't worry about that Ryan, we both know it'd be on SC long before the battery needed replacing ;-)
Sounds idyllic! Think I may have a new retirement goal :-)

Many thanks. Hmmm that's possibly borderline in terms of thickness. I generally would want 12.5mm or less on that size of case.
I like it but any idea of the case height? Can't find it on Breitling website.
In times gone by I would instantly dismiss this based on case width alone but having now Linde Werdelins and a 42mm Explorer2 in the collection I'm inclined to reserve judgement. Crucial dimension...
And the GTS 911 we had...https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240321/d54d833d5255f8376380755e2dc45cf3.jpg

'The Property Podcast' (that the NoGlove bloke considers to be highly subjective) have started reporting that rent increases are slowing down markedly across the UK.
Absolutely agree with this. I'd rather buy a nice solid Cayman with mf warranty than skimp on a 911. If I ever do own a 911 it'll be because I can afford a decent one. As it stands 'even' the Cayman...
Well it felt pretty solid to me. I owned one during lockdown. My then gf bought and sold super cars. I'm not even kidding. We had all sorts on the drive. Lambos , GTRs, 488 Ferraris etc. We had a...
Wait, Porsche made the current 718 engine to have a 10 year max lifespan?? Where have you got that from??
Personally I'd go with the best/newest 718 Cayman you can afford. They are fantastic cars and very well built. I know the Porsche anoraks moan about the 4 pot engine but whatevs. Just make sure you...
My understanding is the £5k per annum limit isn't subject to the 7 year lifespan.
Aren't there some tax implications with that though? I only ask because my accountant always mentions my parents can gift £5k to me per annum tax free which implies anything over that is taxable.

12 Angry Men is on Prime currently. Absolute classic.
Nothing for me this year although the 2:50 today was looking promising until Producer Michael's Wig fell at the 11th hurdle.
That reference certainly feels bigger than the current 36mm Explorer. The 20mm bracelet helps.

Yeah but if the case was actually 41mm it'd look huge. As it is the OP41 is an OK size for a sporty everyday watch imo.
Same with the OP41. Thankfully it's only 39.1mm.
