I too have no need for a GMT nor do I think the extra complication does anything for the aesthetics... somewhat contradictory, I love the date hand on my Oris BCP :joyous:

Thats poor to be fair.
I prefer my BB (black) over a 58; i know im in the minority here but i like the size and less gold bits; both beauties and modern classics though.
Take him out and make a day / experience out of it!
Me and my daughter (10 yo ) did this last year and she had a brill time... ice skating, afternoon tea, a walk, shopping and she picked me a...

Theres plenty of value to be had with Micros imho
Certainly a marmite watch; you either love it or hate it.... or more accurately, its just hated :welcoming:
Got one on order and its fair to say that covid has thrown a tool chest of spanners in the works but there's light at the end of the tunnel now (final assembly in March)
The Nardi front man has...
Never been a fan of "pepsi" bezels for me personally but its a bloody good looking watch for sure.
Every time there's mention of a black bay, the term "slab sided" pops up... i so don't see this!...
My resolve has been broken after a couple of weeks admiring it... went for brown. Aesthetically I think its sublime; feel, finish, quality and wearability TBC
That's the way I'm leaning too...
Currently 10% discount if list with a free watch roll; I asked for 20% which they declined but yema do regularly discount (I know it's new so may need to be a...
Wow, just wow, stunning collection.
That CWC on the desert sand nato looks delish!
Had a rotolog, rather liked it tbc (used to have a soft spot for nixon as it happens and had a few).
I think its miles off a rotolog (also had a Nixon Murf that i rather liked)... its auto for...
Evening all,
Thinking of adding a Yema Digidisc to the ranks.
Aesthetically i think its stunning (brown is edging it over the black for me it think) but its a bit of a gamble on A - a brand...
Tried a handful of (quartz & autos) microbrands and was left disappointed in overall quality so moved them on (at a fair loss).
My "collection" is now mainly around the £500-1500 rado / oris /...
AD wouldnt budge on my Black Bay a couple of years ago... I got a "free" tudor holdall (it is rather nice to be fair)
I also struggle, especially off a mobile (with or without app).
Testing...

When I got into watches say 10 yes ago, 300 quid gave me palpations!
Most of mine now range from 500-1500 (Oris(es), a few micros, certina, hamilton, rado.. that...
D Hodge (2324f)
Oris x3 (Aquis Date, 65, big brown pointer)
Armida (A1 brass)
Hamilton (khaki field manual)
Tudor (black bay heritage)
Dont really post on here that much, more of a lurker but might as well change that.
2021 will see a couple of kickstarters...
A Nardi, case made fro the hull of HMS Cornwall
A Mitch Mason...
Looks like my 6yo boy has drawn a picture of a Pelagos, that's simply not a £3k watch you're looking at.
Own an Oris, only handled the longines so cant comment on the latter but the Oris just does it for me.
Aesthetics is a big win for me over the longines. I'd say the oris is one of the best...
I view my BB as a Tudor, not a Rolex wannabe, poorer brother etc.... It's an exceptional watch without the price tag or (tin hat) stigma that can be associated with a Rolex
