I have 7.5" wrist, the Magrette isn't huge but just looks a lot of watch for the money. Seems to be an eye-catcher and...
Stay tuned, they never stay on my wrist for very long. Onwards and upwards!
Hard to do straight comparisons across the range. Of the 2 top end watches, the IWC trumps the Panerai on timekeeping and overall build quality but the Panerai gains points on wrist presence and...
Morning chaps. I've been quiet since posting my 'what to buy next' topic, as usual I went against most advice initially, buying a Panerai Submersible to satiate my immediate need for a chunky diver....
Nope, totally left field as have never really fancied a Panerai until I tried it on.
Finally made a decision, received this morning and am happy with my choice. Thanks for all the advice guys...

The Quiet Ones, made the mistake of paying to watch this on SKY last night, utter dross.
Re Danny Dyer only making crap films (He's not in the quiet ones by the way) you should check out...
I agree Chester, still in the mix.
Ploprof is so iconic but I think I would want to wear it constantly which may not be practical with a suit. I need to try some of these options on to get nearer...
Thanks Mark, I have been looking at the supermarine as I like Bremont a lot. Not considered the Seikos...the choice widens again.
Cheers for the info all, the shortlist is getting shorter.
I believe that is slightly too much information Paul.
Much appreciated PJ, now I would have said Swerious Why Sewbreezinous. Glad I didn't.
Cheers JennyC, another good call.
Bunny and the Bull opening credits are a short film in themselves.

Why this particular model DB - Having looked at quite a few now I didn't realise there were so many variations
Just recreational No2, couple of times a year. I also swim a lot and have a tendency to forget to take my watch off so would prefer 200m plus to be safe.
Many thanks for the links PJ, some nice pieces in there. I hadn't seen the Zenith or Chopard models before. I like the bottom one but find it totally unpronounceable, so that's no good!
So are you jittery due to their feeling too delicate? I guess a year without problems says something, do you dive with any of them?
Brilliant Jason, many thanks.
