Very expensive for the age I'm afraid.
Agreed, I think I’ll wait.
Thanks all.
Thanks guys I did think as much, the watch is around £2k under where it should be so thought £1000 should cover it?
Ideally I’d like to save the watch and take on a bit of a project but don’t...
Hi all,
Has anyone taken on this task or knows of someone willing to do so? I have been offered an 18k Daydate at a very reasonable price but it unfortunately has had diamonds set to the case...
25 on the first only really missing out on the rest due to not being American!
Waitrose own for me!
I love the box more than anything and appreciate what Omega are trying to do of late but still think they are trying way too hard!
Surely a used automatic Tag Carrera would be in reach for £1000?
I do own many other brands but I cannot deny I am a huge Rolex fan! At this moment in time there are no other watches I lust after, not even a Daytona :D
Ps do they actually sell watches in the...
I spent most of today visiting numerous Rolex authorised dealers in London with the hope of getting on "a list" to purchase a Hulk or Pepsi GMT and have been told Rolex do no longer accept non...

An absolute no brainer from me having owned both I can't even look at the old model in the same light as the quality and finish are simply worlds apart, not to mention it looks so much better.

Wow! Just beautiful :)
The bracelet has improved ten fold and has finally moved over to screws rather than those awful pins! I'll post some more pics tomorrow once I'm allowed to open it.
Wow :0
Thanks for the kind words guys!
I really am looking forward to wearing this one out to see the colour change in the dial :)
This piece really has brought back my faith in Omega.
I used the Christmas code provided in this thread which saved me £117.
I normally wouldn't comment on a retailer as from high street AD to bricks and mortar specialists I have never received a service that in my opinion warranted any praise though Chronext have been a...
Sorry I'm not much help as I used the Xmas2016 code for a Seamaster but I must add so far and the watch hasn't arrived yet that they have been outstanding, a true breath of fresh air and shall...
I have only driven the 2.7 987 and can say though not the fastest thing in the world I would happily own one and I have own/ed much faster more powerful machinery.
I also think the 987 has aged...
Cant take credit for the pic but these simply cannot be beaten...

I have to say as a Watchfinder fan and having bought and sold a few watches through them their prices do seem to have gone a bit mad in the last 6 months or so...
Interesting! Strange how they refer to the Hublot brand as being so recognisable, my otherhalf and most my non wis friends would all know Rolex, Omega and Tag Heuer for sure but Hublot :?
Hands down a four liner 14060m, modern enough to be usable and just about rare enough plus it's the very last of the "traditional" Sub.
