This, absolutely.
Nice phrase. :-)
I am sad that it is now unlikely that you'll get your grail but, on the bright side, there are other more accessible, often better, watches out there.
Rolex, to watches what KFC is to fast food. :tongueskull:
I'd have thought they'd rather be compared to McDonalds!
Good grief.
I can only imagine that the oligarchs are still getting their Rolex fix somewhere, somehow. And a lot of countries are very much still friendly to Russia.
Other countries' problems! It was a UK decision civil service/government decision to knowingly destroy a multi-million (possibly multi-billion) pound industry in the UK.
By the way to anyone who...
Ah, it was a reference to the 1980s tv game show called 'Bullseye' (which apparently has a cult following!) where the losing contestants were shown the prizes that they could have won. :tongue-new:
Bullseye!
Ah, I see, thanks. I was kind of expecting something like the specialist knowledge round from Mastermind. ;-)
What did they want to know about the watch?
LOL

That really, really makes me cringe.
Some of these were/are worth less than £77K. Although the coming of the space port might stimulate prices a bit...

For sale or display only?
We have been led to believe that ADs had no stock to sell as they had sold it all. I.e. They were still getting the same amount of stock in from Rolex but were just selling it before it hit the...
Not that it really matters but is that true in all cases? My impression is that some are (or have been) genuinely non-functional models, i.e. the kind of thing that watch sales reps used to use.
Not that I have purchased or am going to purchase it but I just wanted to say: Thank you for posting an actual Rolex for actual sale. :-)
LOL!
In practice there will be no Customs Duty to pay on a single watch. Only VAT.
In principle, the rate of Customs Duty charged on all watches is 4.5% but it is bracketed in a peculiar way, limiting...
