Lovely car - but looks like it needs bigger wheels (even though they're probably 18" rims!)
The last 24hrs postings have hit it out the park!
Probably worthy of its own thread, as I'm sure there will be quite a few questions to answer.
Let me start; why not but an MX-5? :encouragement:
Anything badged "Skyactiv" is Mazda's own platform I believe.
The power outputs of normally aspirated petrol engines hasn't changed an awful lot, unlike turbo charged engines, especially diesels.
Your XC60 (I assume T5 because it has circa 250bhp) is turbo...
Sounds similar to our MK1 2001 Yaris - now in its 22nd year and ours for 18 if them. Still going strong - don't think it's ever failed an MOT (yet). An amazing vehicle in that sense.
Each to their own - as I made clear it is *my* opinion and *my* view and as I also made very clear, it's the buyer's money and their choice. Just one that still baffles me.
;-)
Re: the...
One of the new world's mysteries for me - why on earth would anyone pay to have their car look as if it's still in primer, with no topcoat? You pays your money.....:ambivalence:
I know that laugh.....and have the scars to prove it! ;-)
Best of luck with the trip sounds like it will be a great experience regardless what time you arrive at Land's End. Traffic should be kind to you too being a Tuesday/out of holiday season.
You certainly seem to have found a nice example. Enjoy!
Must admit PDE has an enviable collection of cars - certainly some beasts and exotics posted in this thread, with a bias towards products from Stuttgart, no not the Zuffenhausen marque, the other...
Nice !
Never heard of the Kluger before now - Is it a Australia-only model?
Seems to be the same as or at least heavily based upon the Highlander.
Nice car and as already mentioned, has dated very...
SJ got it first - I'm fairly sure it's a mid 2000's Toyota Highlander. Lovely condition vehicle BTW and a model that I think probably would've done well in the UK (had Toyota officially imported it!)...
IIRC you seem to be a serial RS4 owner. Love the new one's colour btw! :cheerful:
I had one of those nearly 30 years ago in dark Grey. The NA 2.0 16v engine was sweet and produced about 160bhp from memory and it handled very well too. Pop-up headlamps - well what can you say :-)

Fabulous! :applause:
That looks so menacing but understated at the same time - IYKWIM.
My favourite colour combo too - Metallic Grey (any shade really but that is awesome!) and Red leather...
Thanks but I'll pass - the autos ("powershift") on that era of Fords don't have a very good reputation, so unless it's a old fashioned torque converter auto, I'd rather stick with manual. Cheers.
That seems like a bargain in the current market. Hope it gives you plenty of service.
2.0tdi or 1.9tdi? Manual or DSG? What the mileage? Must be fairly high to get it for £1.7k, as second hand prices have really shot up!
Interested to see how you get on as I'm contemplating a...
Lovely. :eagerness:
Silver Grey exterior and Red/Burgundy leather interior - my favourite combo!
P.S. Is that a seatbelt buckle poking out the middle of the rear seat?
Sounds fun, just watch out for the speed and average speed cameras, whichever route you take - there are a few more than when Clarkson did his trip.
Great picture - fantastic car and lovely scenery.
Love the hairdryer decals - brilliant!!
