Thanks for that Eddie - signed up and already bought a few books this morning. Should keep me occupied on the (train) commute for the next couple of weeks. Cheers.

I remember reading some of his books in my teens in the late '80s, along with Hammond Innes and Alistair MacLean etc. Most of them were cold war thrillers IIRC.
Just finished For Valour by Andy McNab - the current Nick Stone novel. I enjoyed it*.
* I know McNab isn't the most popular author here.........
Been enjoying Brett Battles' "The Cleaner" series featuring his hero Jonathan Quinn.
Read Tom Wood's The Hunter and The Enemy back-to-back over the holiday period and just finished David Baldacchi's The Innocent last night. All 3 are very good, especially if you like Reacher/Bourne...
Just finished a couple of books by Barry Eisler in the John Rain series - found them easy to read and very entertaining. Need to source the (3) remaining titles to complete the series.
Dean Koontz - The Good Guy.
SWMBO read it and seemed to really enjoy it (not that that is always a recommendation  ).
