JW1 was and still remains (IMHO) one of the best action movies; simple story line, good-enough acting and brilliant, brilliant action sequences. Every sequel has tried to out-action the previous one...

Saw JW4 last night - have to agree. Wish they put a little bit more story and dialogue in, rather than the nonstop action sequences - it all got a bit same'ol, same'ol after the first 2 hrs.

Watched the new Luther film on Netflix last night - if you liked the series, you'll probably like the film.

Watched the The Gray Man yesterday on Netflix - A Ryan Gosling / Chris Evans vehicle. Totally OTT but good for some "brain out" fun.

I think I gave up on F&F films around #5.

Not really sure how they managed to keep the franchise going this long and why (quite a lot of) people seem to be hooked on it.

Watched Bad Samaritan on Prime last night. It's stars David Tennant and Robert Sheehan (from The Misfits), overall not bad and quite creepy in places.

Also watched Snyder's Justice League over the weekend - much better than the original, though as mentioned it's loonnnnngggggggggggg - so ended up watching it over 2 nights.

I found it quite an experience - visually very different from any film I've seen before and a great story.
