That says a lot, we had a 6 months old 345 with rust!
Less rust issues in the UK than the MX5 too

The choice of tyre on the MR2 is critical to the handling. Wrong tyres and the car tramlines badly under braking. I find the car very nervous at speed in any case. At least more so than any other...
We still have an MR2, and I’d probably opt for the MX5 - the interior is a lot nicer in the Mazda.
