Dang, I know that the ~2mm is for the crystal but I do wish it were thinner.
Wow, time to queue for the next flash sales.
Aventurine Everest for me simply because the dial doesn't look anything like my other watches [emoji1]
In the year or so that has passed from the time I put on my name for a 124270, I checked in twice via text and twice in person. I've even added a Datejust and lately the Celebration motif dial. Shoot...
Any chance you could keep it under 12mm thick?
Might be doable by reducing WR to 10bar. Who needs more than that for a traveler watch anyway...
I'm content with the Smiths Everest design, honestly. But my gripe is that the 6 o'clock end of the bracelet is too long for small (and irregular) wrists making the watch head and inner clasp...
Non-rivet oyster, when? :)
Oh darn, was not active lately and did not know that the Silver Jubilee has sold out for real! Was planning to buy another for the wife but looks like the second hand market is the only way now...
That's weird. You have a bit smaller wrists and yours is centered? Well I think I do have odd-shaped wrists (thicker on the bone part -- left side). Anyway, what I did was to remove a link on the 12...
soo, I've been wearing mine for a straight week. so many good things to say about the watch but I do have one major complaint in terms of wearability..
I have puny 17 cm wrists and I wish there...
Grats! I'm also planning to buy another for the missus as she thought the sparkly-glittery dial was more for women than men :drunken_smilie:
As to the screwdriver size, I used a 1mm head from one...
Thanks for the photo walkaround! I enjoyed the journey. Wish you could've shared live pics of the calendar VC. And dang, that sport JLC looks so fine! Can't go wrong with the Bvlgari, too.
Finally got in! Had alerted my bank beforehand and at last the payment went through. Excited! :tears_of_joy:
I'd most likely buy that new non-rivet bracelet once I successfully purchase a Silver Jubilee Everest, which hopefully happens today. :witless:
Have a happy birthday, Eddie. May you have more years to come of creating and selling high-quality watches.
First time player. Got it at 5. Short but fun!
I was on the checkout page and twice my card was declined... on my third attempt I was prompted that it sold out. :hurt: now I will try to be more prepared for the next time... :sorrow:
edit: I...
I'm looking forward to Sunday. I just want a shot at that Silver Jubilee. :neglected:
envious! :subdued:
Thanks for the info, to R and you.
I thought it was sold out since it shows as that in the site. Guess I'll have to see what Feb 13 brings..
Oh, come on! One user getting all the goodies every time and just unashamedly flipping them.
I don't know what's going on with the credit authorization but I do wish there will be a time where a store opening accommodates 600 orders (i.e. four batches of 150 pcs. each) knowing and informing...
All 500 have been sold out, yes?
Congrats! I did almost exactly the same stuff that you did, but a few months ago this method did not even work (for me, at least). Other watch purchases from other brands have been made since then....
