A car is no sign of achievement. That thinking alone puts you firmly in the sad life category.
Enjoy your kit car, but try to ensure the booze has worn off before popping for tomorrow's supply of...
I'd pop the bottle away now.
We all have to be subjected to those kit cars you tell us you've bought, or motorhomes you're going to look at, but never buy, so unless you've interesting information...
God you're sad.
Not really comparable to be honest.
My last GT went in 2005 and was a 2000 model 3.2 petrol.
The Ghibli is a 3.0 V6 turbocharged diesel, so a different beast altogether, but still happy enough...
Seeing as we are on the subject, I’ve had my Ghibli for three months now...
Previously had a couple of GT’s and wanted to try the new generation. Can’t say I’m disappointed to be honest.
...
Sorry, yes, I was responding to the reference of the instruments, having popped into Bremont this week and trying a couple on.
Reading back my post, it does read badly.
I’m not a fan of Jaguar, or Bremont to be honest, but their latest ‘tribute’ is a gorgeous watch in the flesh.
No (!) it’s a diesel...
Houses a 3 litre V6 twin turbo, so packs a decent punch, but they’ve added a sport button, which changes the engine tone beyond belief to give a lovely burble on tick over...

It’s pretty...
I went for the Ghibli...

Get well soon Gilford snr.
Not forgetting the rebirth of the RS.
As a few mates here will remember, I had a line green variant delivered upon launch. Have to say, it was a pure hoot!
Its gone all Titanium this and that now...
The M is to BMW what the Ghia, or Zetec is to Ford these days. It's simply a trim level.
Murgie I miss ya!
Stop fannying about with cars and get back on here a bit more often.
Hope you and the family are well :encouragement:
Miss you Murgie
The car looks better on OEM wheels mate 8)
Nothing boring, or average about a Ford Focus....
