I think the white works well against the black dial, but I am not keen on the 'vintage lume'.

I'd like that...but you opened this thread with "Having now secured the movements..." so perhaps there would be timing implications as well?
A cream dial will look better with blued hands than white, but might it be a shade or two lighter than the Expedition, please?

I was not sure if I'd prefer no lume and black hands or Eddie's choice of full C3 lume and blued hands. I like Eddie's recent editions...
