Given up road riding for the winter it’s too dark and wet so happily back out on the car free free muddy forest trails for some two wheeled fun.

Bananas. I did my first 100k ride last weekend setting off at 7am. I ate some cereal before setting off and a couple of bananas during, plus a brownie and an SIS gel. Eating something every 25km.
I’ve a Garmin Edge 130 which is the entry level Garmin. It does the job though, links with my phone, can store routes created on Garmin Connect and shows turn by turn nav, plus syncs with Strava.
