You might not fit it in your carry on luggage [emoji6]
Dual time zones, compass and thermometer all for less than a tenner delivered...

Nice choice. Looks like a resin version of my old Casio Marlin I had years ago.
I guess you wouldn't entertain anthracite polymer injected with carbon nanotubes and a movement made of a light, rigid, shock-absorbent combo of titanium and a lithium alloy like Rafael Nadal....

I did wonder if it was a "shopped" picture. Maybe you could get a job designing for Seiko [emoji6] I think it looks better than the real thing.
Looks better in this picture.....

Try contacting http://www.tiktox.com. I'm sure if you give them the model number they will be able to tell you what is available for your model .
I was half joking but it does seem that Grand Seiko threads seem to attract those sort of comments.
Not sure "self dater" makes any less sense than "date just" and I've not seen people moaning...
Wondered how long it would before the Seiko trolls arrived [emoji6]
Do you ever walk down steps, stairs, walk in wet or icy conditions, stand on a chair to change a light build? There are more head injuries from falling in these situations than cycling. Agreed it's a...
Yes I enquired about a Seiko Shogun SBDC007 a few weeks ago and was told they would no longer ship Seiko to the UK. I'm assuming it is because most of the JDM watches are now available through the...
I'm assuming they were trying snag a pair of these...

Does this qualify as a tool watch?

Most people don't see cycling as a high risk sport, rather it is a means of transportation. It's funny how cyclists in the UK tend to think this way. I think the best quote I read was from a German...
I find it odd that you are happy to commute in London traffic at those speeds but appear to think those that don't wear helmets are risking their lives.
I agree but unfortunately I think this logical argument will be lost on some. You'd save even more lives if it was mandatory for pedestrians.

This suggests that around 25% of cycling deaths in the UK involve collision with car...
I thought it was the national Statistics Office. Can't understand why they make their website so difficult to find things on though! This one relates to death rates but there was also a paper on head...
It's OK. It was a few years ago and I'm sure cars are much safer now but I'll try find a link to the data I found at the time.
However, if you take the CTC statistics on deaths per trip then I am...
People need to make up their own minds but I for one gave up wearing a helmet several years ago for many of the reasons Markf points out.
Statistically I'm less likely to be involved in an...
Interesting article with information from Alessandro Bettarini of Ennebi about the crown design...

Interesting. I hope you didn't try this at home...

Wonder what design they used for it?
I think the crown is probably going to be your weakest point as it's not a screw down. You could get it replaced I suppose but it isn't a particularly easy thing to do. Also, if it's the hand wind...
I think the lug to lug distance also plays a part in whether a particular watch looks big or not. It's not just the case size. Not sure what these are like for the 29a compared to say the Zex.
