Not to take anything away from it in any way, but why a diver's watch? I get the Aerospace, X-33 / squadrons thing as there's a connection between the watches and the occupation, but here?

Perhaps I've misunderstood - thought you were looking for a mechanical watch with a digital display. Yes, that Heuer is rather cool.
Ventura did an interesting one, and with an actual digital display not just digital style numerals, but that was in the 2000's I think.
That happened a week or so after the launch. More restrictive space outside the shop there than the other two, and I gather some of the adjacent shops complained to the Council.
According to the Swatch site there's 11 stores in Italy they're available through with only 3 in the UK, so that may be a factor. There was some kind of trouble at the Oxford Street store last week...
That's lovely.

I think the prices will remain inflated for as long as they’re only available in store.
There’s precisely one advertised on eBay with a BIN under £500 and that’s one of the less popular ones, so not really true.
Just the less popular ones though by all accounts - Sun & Pluto I think.

I don’t believe that you never queue.
You don’t use supermarkets?
Oh I dunno, perfect first date watch I'd have thought?

That, and the fact they're being sold out of flagship Swatch stores only would also explain the Saturday release, which had me puzzled.
That would be a bit weird, as the Alaska Project was all about creating a watch (or shroud around a watch) that could withstand the extreme temperture variations of EVA - not associated with any...
Oh. I'd imagined more of a monotone case & dial in each of the predominant planet colours, with perhaps those little planet inserts I've seen the pics of placed somewhere on the caseback.
This...
Bye.
That would explain the large box
