I'm watching Love/Hate too, following the recommendation here. I'm also sitting through the ITVX ads, but well worth it - it's excellent. Yes, only 4 episodes in S1 but 6 per season thereafter.
I've just watched 'Anna Director's Cut' on Prime - it's certainly different to the police procedurals or legal dramas I mainly watch. It is about a woman whose life takes an unplanned turn, but what...
All eight episodes of the second series of KIN are now on iPlayer. One episode in and it's as gripping as the first series :)
I thought it was very good - I especially liked the early seasons but the later ones enjoyable too
Excellent news about Kin S2 - I'll check out Love/Hate too
I've found it gripping - will be watching the last episode (of Kin on iPlayer) later this afternoon
Update - I've just watched the final episode of series one and feel sure there will be a series...
Troppo on Amazon Prime is a really good watch. Set in Queensland so look out for the crocs (the reptiles, that is)
Dark Hearts on iPlayer is excellent - it's a six part series about French special forces in Iraq trying to locate the family of a high ranking ISIS official in order to get information

Series two of Bosch Legacy is now on Amazon Prime - very enjoyable
Series two of Time is available on iPlayer - unlike the first series, it's set in a women's prison (but nothing like Prisoner...
Manayek, available on All4, is excellent - it is about an Israeli police Internal Affairs officer investigating his best friend. Almost up there with Line of Duty!
Thanks for the recommendation - the premise didn't appeal when it first came round, so I gave it a miss. Thoroughly enjoying it now!
I've just watched seasons 1 & 2 of 'Screw' on iPlayer - prison drama with humour and pathos. Looking forward to a season 3
Astrid: Murder in Paris is excellent. A police drama about a female cop and a criminal records librarian with autism and a fascination for puzzles. As well as the intriguing crimes, there is a really...
I found it unwatchable so didn't progress past episode one and despite a good review in The Guardian, I'm not going to give it another go.
In contrast, I found The Sixth Commandment on iPlayer...
You've a treat in store - it's excellent
LOL - some of the main protagonists are unkempt enough to qualify as wildlife :)

I thought so, too.
A while back I watched the first three seasons of Animal Kingdom on Amazon Prime. I really enjoyed it despite nearly not making it through the first episode - the crime family...
Not new but if you like legal dramas, The Good Wife on All4 is excellent (as if the follow up drama, The Good Fight on Amazon Prime).

The latest series (5) of Snowfall is now available on iPlayer - it's well up to the quality of the first four series which are also available.
I've not read any of the books and TBH didn't think Reacher would be the sort of thing I would enjoy. I gave it a go based on the number of positive views expressed here - it clearly doesn't take...
Currently enjoying the second series of '4 Blocks' on Amazon Prime (series 1-3 available)
Set in Berlin and about an Arab drug lord, it's pretty brutal at times but I'm finding it a gripping watch.
Currently watching Millennium on BBC4 and iPlayer. I've read the books and seen all the films (Girl with the dragon tattoo etc) several times didn't expect I would find this series had anything more...
I've just binged the entire seven seasons of 'The Shield' on Amazon Prime.
Not a new series, but brilliantly written and acted. And as this review intimates, the last season was phenomenal.
