Agreed. But I think it reflects the fact that the surviving witnesses all seem to have different recollections of what happened. We'll probably never know the full story.
I also enjoyed 'Summit' on Netflix, documentarising a similarly ill-fated expedition to K2. It turns out Everest is the relatively easy mountain. K2 is a killer.
I forgot just how good 'The Lego Movie' is till I watched it again yesterday.
