Watched screener last night , I loved it but wife wasn't so keen .

Spent £15k on an Audi ( still got it ) in 2003 , also bought a Rolex 14060m for £1975 the same year. In 10 years the sub (sold in 2011) is now worth about £3.5k whereas the car is about half that !

Would definitely choose the LLD out of those 2, however you could pick up a new no date version for less than half your £3k - the new ones are one of the best re issues available , nearly identical...

They will hold their value well , although £3k does seem a bit high for a 4 year old one , got mine for £2.5k 2 years ago and it's an L series so around 4 years old now .
