Funnily enough I haven't been motivated to buy a Rolex since a 5513 in the early 00s ... too small, too rattly, and while rattly doesn't apply in the same way to the 16610, I still felt it was too...
Well the tiny originals were from a different age - 32mm? 34mm? - even the later 'Jumbo' was only 40mm. The big bezel design makes them all look even smaller. The original ones are pieces of a size...
Sorry mistyped! I meant the new Ingenieur. Total missed opportunity.
Be interesting to see it in the metal but 45mm is the perfect size for this watch, I hope it doesn't suffer too much from losing a couple of mm. Glad they kept the looks.
IWC totally ruined the...
Well if current trends are anything to go by it'll be 38mm and you'll need a magnifying glass to read the dial.
Couple of straps arrived today from Jacobs Ramirez in Spain. Super quality. My pics aren't great but the blue alligator makes the subtle blue chapter ring numbers on this Ingenieur Titanium Double...
Neither are as, er, esoteric as some in the thread here but don't think I've seen either of these apart from mine:
1) IWC Ingenieur Titanium Double Chronograph:

If you took all the others away I could live quite happily with only this, I already wear it more than any other:

Depends on your preference. The new pilot chronos are too small and insubstantial (imo)
A classic indeed!
I didn't find the BP43 crown a problem at all. I've owned pilot watches where this was an issue but not from IWC.
I needed to fundraise at the time I sold mine, but I suspect...
Absolutely gorgeous. Had my eye on that one but needed to shift the PAM514 first.
A great thread I hadn't spotted before - a few from me, the Flieger Doppel is a grail that, now here, will never be sold, Ingenieur Double Chronograph is the same movement but a radically different...

I had similar issues ordering a Laco from them. Bog standard spec not some funky custom config, but after the order it suddenly had to go on ‘special order’ from Germany. After just over a month and...
Love that. Sucker for a bicompax. The proportions are spot on.

Love that strap! Super funky.
Inge Doppel. Absolutely loving this, never been off the wrist since it arrived. Photos really don't to justice to the lustrous, silky ti case, popping 3D matt dial, subtle blue highlights, even the...
In my experience, the 42mm 417es wears pretty small for its given dimensions, being only 46mm lug to lug. It wears bigger on the three-piece Bund strap, though my objection to that isn't so much what...
Tis a beauty indeed. I moved the steel one on with the intention of getting the bronze flyback, which I eventually did, but afterwards concluded the steel version had more presence.
oops took it but forgot to post it up
