But apparently it needs to be sent away to have the bezel fitted, it can’t be done in store. They do retain the original bezel.

Leeds have just said they will do it but I'm also waiting on Bill Rice.

No I've been to both my local ADs and they won't do it.
I may get in touch with William Rice unless you can lend me your helicopter Milton??

Thank you.
I was wondering if my AD may only do it, if I were to get the watch serviced.

St James made it out that the only way it would happen is if I went directly to them.

I've just picked up 16710 with a coke bezel, which I do like but I've always preferred the pepsi. I called St James RSC yesterday and they said I could pop in and swap it. I'm not going to be in...
The VC on the strap looks great.
I lived in Edinburgh for a few years when I was kid and went to the Royal High. We often used to go to Corbie's for a chipie lunch. Salt n sauce??
I think the oyster perpetual is no longer so humble. It has the looks of a professional/ sports model, particularly with the 3-6-9 dial, at a more reasonable price (to the Explorer 1 and milgaus) and...
I've worn my Explorer 1 everyday since getting it last year. I have the rest of the collection in the safe and not worn anything else since but have no intention in moving them on. I'm not sure if my...
I would usually say leave as is but you've done a good job. I have a 114270 and that polished bezel does easily pick up marks.
Lovely watch and I like the strap you've put on it.

Nice!
The IWC is a beauty and definitely a keeper. I'd also hold onto the JLC.
Congratulations, you sure love a GMT :occasion14:
Yes I currently have SEL's on my Explorer 1, Sub date and GMT and I did previously have models with non SEL. They just have a bit more presence on the wrist.
You definitely need to try before you buy. Remember also the 114270 has solid end links so does wear a little larger than you'd expect.
I'm no help in finding you a watch to try but here's a comparison picture I saw on TRF:

I went for the 114270,...
I do like the cream dial 16550 :eagerness:
What size is your wrist? The 5905P is 42mm and will be quite heavy too.
I prefer the dial layout and the shape of the hands on the 5905.
Have you seen the Worldtime Chrono 5930? Beautiful...
