Agreed. It would be a deal-breaker for me.
Having tried both, personally I'd stick with the GS, rather than the Tiger 1200. In fact, I'd sooner have a Tiger 900 than a 1200.
I'll just leave this here - in case anyone needs it...

First mini-tour of the year, down in the Brecon Beacons. Lovely weather, and great to be out and about.

The FE all day long.
Go big or go home. :)

You gotta bear in mind your propensity for changing bikes, Tony…. :)
I guess you could calculate it, Tony?
Wheelbase + (front wheel diameter/2) + (rear wheel diameter/2) + tyres (which is dependent on size/profile)
Alternatively, Google suggests the overall...
I'm on W11. My SkyGo app version is 23.6.2-23.5.1
What "does not work" about your setup?
It'll be no help to you, but mine just works. I'm watching the warm-up to the footie on my laptop while my wife watches some other carp on the telly.
It'll be worth it when you get there.
Lovely morning up in the Peak…

Yeah, I fitted the Weiser wizards to my GS. Having followed a few GS's, I'm convinced the stock turn signal/brake combo light is just flat out adding unnecessary risk.

The nose fairing detracts from that imo…

Managed to get the newbie grubby this morning, but I reckon it will not be the last time that happens.

It’s worth it imo. I have a US10 and US20. They are really well designed and excellent quality.
I’ve tried other bags from other brands, but the Kriega bags are better imo.
Fortunately I still have this alongside the Speed Twin.

Covering all the bases.
I think I'll use the Triumph for more local stuff in N Wales and...
It’s a crap picture but the bike is pale blue. I think they had too many baja orange bikes (a matt colour that didn’t suit the Speed Twin imo) so they customised a couple.
I think this is the blue...
Collected the new steed yesterday. Delighted with it:

Yeah, much better.
Yeah, that, and the fact that for me it is a 17 minute journey from home. :)
