Lucky it wasn't real then. :wink-new:
Possibly for the same reason that its champions go all quiet when it's in a slump. :devilish:
Well, gold has value in electronics, phones, medical, dentistry etc etc. It's a very specialised material.
BTC has no intrinsic value at all.
LOL!!
Where do I sign up? :stupid:
Yep.
Reading back, the claims of our resident hypers were outrageous in January.
One predicted Etherum to be at least £2000 by year end and another slightly more bold advocate thought that was...
You, and I expect many others Jase.
When the crypto hyping was at full tilt on here many members showed a lot more than a passing interest due to the fabulous stories of fortunes made.
It was...
Once people realise there is nothing there. :devilish:

I must admit this notion came to me too Raffe.
Just too frightened to miss out - on what I don't know. :grief:

Will it come of age?
Is anything really there?
Personally I think there are plenty of ways of moving money around nowadays without pie in the sky ideas that have not proven themselves and have...
Those days are gone.
Frankly I believe many people are beginning to realise that there is nothing there, hence the sell offs, even it seems by you. :devilish:
Are you going to dive back into...
It's the race to zero. :wink-new:
Sorry to hear that but imo the hype is over now.
Lot of chat on here just before last Christmas about huge gains and people were piling in on the back of these tales.
Now people are realising...
That's what it is all down to, because at the end of the day, there is nothing there ..........hype away!
Although TBH I think investors may be much more wary of cryptos this time around after...
As the hype dies down (even on here :wink-new: ) is Bitcoin headed back to where it started before all the mania?
Or is it a great time to invest for those with strong stomachs?
...
It is on crypto.
A few hours can mean wild swings as you know.
Worse, the poor sods who bought in to the hype on here and elsewhere around Christmas time.
I don't think it is the future at all, there is no problem with what we have now for online payments including failsafes operated by the big banks which you won't get with crypto.
Crypto IMO has...
I see the Venezuelan government is looking to launch a new coin, the Petro.
Venezuelan government with its wonderful track record on finance - what could possibly go wrong?
