My wife has a 71 plate GLE and it’s a hateful thing, ride quality is shite, cheaply built and handles like crap, I hate it! Good job it’s getting replaced soon.
Not the engine, I mean the car in general! Amount of cost saving measures in various places is unreal - long gone are the days of cars being built by engineers not penny pinchers!
I couldn’t disagree more tbh! 4 pot, only made to last 10 years at best; I guess it all depends if you want something new and shiny!
IMHO I wouldn’t touch any of the newer stuff, Porsche specialist I use has had countless 718 etc in to have bits replaced due to cheap manufacturing.

Our freezer is full of venison fillets/sausages/stew etc, it’s sooo bloody tasty.
It’s called deer management, otherwise they run amok and decimate the crops; everything gets butchered and eaten, no different from slaughtering cows/pigs etc.

Having bought and sold a multitude of watches over the years, I’ve come to the realisation that as with cars, my preference is for the older, vintage end of the market. For me these are 2 watches...

Well it’s now back from Sean after a service and running better than ever, absolutely love this watch and the dial is phenomenal. Ended up having the following new parts fitted:

We have a 2021 GLE 350de, to be honest I don’t really like it. It’s slow, gutless and the charge last about 30 miles, it weighs loads more than a standard diesel so the pretty average mpg is even...
There may well be an interesting update and twist that links to this picture tomorrow…..

A small update on this, it’s currently away with Sean Yates having a full service, a few new parts (including NOS helium escape valve) in order to make it full wearable! The bracelet is also away...
Slight update with a new SD4K which has the DSSD Glidelock clasp and a new strap on my Bremont.
