Agree most of the de Lucas have the dive bezel. And yes I think with mk ii they changed to the Mercedes hands. Some however did have the fixed tachymeter scale....

Thanks. I believe there were 4 series in the '90s. The mki are probably the best known and most desired.
Don't have my copy of rosslers book to hand to verify.

No, other issues. Mostly with the day indicator sticking intermittently. The crown also needed to be replaced (expected) but they used one from a later generation.

A thumbs down from me unfortunately. It took their UK service centre (via the Dublin AD) 4 attempts and over a year to fix my chronomaster.

Agree with all the above.
Your pots and pans will need to be:
Ferro-magnetic, check with a small magnet.
Have a flat bottom, though I think you can get special models for woks
