Not particularly exciting, but I've finally got round to connecting in the spotlights on the Triumph

Very cool springer.
And there's me working out how best to fit a Givi Maxia to a Road King Special :-)
Love that!
I remember seeing the Corsa when it was launched and thinking it the most beautiful bike ever made
But still 145lbs lighter than the behemoth I'm having delivered soon.
I so hope they don't need me to unload it from the van.
Others may see monster power and clever engineering.
What I see is a comfy seat and a sensible riding position!
Rickman have gone, but as far as I can tell Wasp and Metisse are still operating.
From what I've seen, Metisse are doing higher end classic Triumph builds in the Steve McQueen mould. I was going...
Blimey - thanks for the advice.
Perhaps buying a screen to allow me to travel faster in comfort was the wrong thing to do!
Not particularly exciting, but tonight I took off the BMW screen on the R1200R and replaced it with the far larger custom-fit Puig 8165W.
Not the prettiest screen, but hopefully it'll make my...
Yes, straight forward halogen H4 out, LED H4 in. No cutting, rewiring or messing about.
Since fitting it, all my rides have been daytime or at dusk so I can't give a full night time ride report,...
Completed converting all of the bulbs on the Triumph to LED.
Tail light is LED from the factory, LED indicators are Triumph accessories and headlight, sidelight and number plate light are...
Love that, though rather negates the camouflage seat!
Well, as with virtually all mods and tweaks, it wasn't actually needed. But when has that mattered..?
When I'm riding, apart from the occasional glance at the speedo, the two things I like to keep...
Only a minor modification in the grand scheme of things, but I'm happy with the bespoke clock mounting bracket fabricated by a local engineering shop (ageing gent in a tiny industrial unit with lots...

Each wheel set has a tubeless option, so I suspect they seal the inside of the rim in some way
Look amazing, though I'm worried that they may not be lighter than the originals.
Looking forward to seeing the result. Did you get clobbered for import duty and vat?
For some reason I'd forgotten that the R100GS was available in red. I'm definitely losing it.
R80ST?
I must have had serious brain fade when I searched before as I looked at loads of similar ads and decided they weren't quite right.
I can't for the life of me recall why
Looks great, where did you get the plate from as I fancy something similar?
I think my previous was a Yamaha XS400SE US Custom back in the mid-80's.
Hot motorcycle modding tip: if you're going to white letter your tyres, take the wheels from the bike, position them on a...
In simple terms yes.
However no-one makes the requisite bits to attach a set of Givi monokey luggage for the bike, so I commissioned a bespoke set of brackets from a local specialist fabrication...
I've just been sorting luggage for mine so I'm not restricted when I go on trips.

Looking forward to seeing how that pans out.
