I think I would be up for this in early Jan.
As a general rule, any place in Kent from which Essex is visible is best avoided.
I saw him last year in 12 Angry Men on stage in London. He was very frail but still out performed most of the rest of the cast.
RIP
I came across this recently and admired it. I think the colour of the strap is described as bronze.

So is reading all the posts in a thread.
I am generally not a lover of Panerais, or of over large watches, but that is an excellent review Tony. Many thanks for making the effort and conveying your enthusiasm for this particular piece.
I'm wearing Jockey shorts at the moment. Does this make a fraud because I am not a midget and I don't have a face like a scrotum?
I seem to recall the report in the local newspaper of the last robbery he suffered. The paper made much of the fact that the police ended their investigation with what could only be called indecent...
We have just finished the salt beef my wife cooked before Christmas. Made to my great-aunt's recipe (she always called it corned beef) it does take on the crumbly texture of corned beef after a few...
Annual dredging at that - it may well have taken a pounding this time last year without being brought to the surface.
My brother (a dentist) makes a charge of £25 for a missed appointment. He doesn't chase anyone for this, but you won't be able to make another appointment unless you pay this fee.
The OP's case...
I had a quick look at that site and decided I must live in a different world. £200 for sweat pants and £160 for a T shirt, really?
Yes, I have been pleased with watches that Brendan has worked on for me and have offered to effect an introduction if he does want the watch seen to.
I suspect he was interested in a valuation...
What an awful thing to happen, I do sympathise.
After discovering that I had an interest in watches, an old boy in the village asked me if I could give him some idea of the value of a watch he had bought new in 1974, a Baume & Mercier dress watch...
There is a £20 note waiting in the porch to be given to our regular postie as a seasonal thank you. He always manages to do the right thing including moving parcels, left by other carriers, from the...
Orvis stuff is generally hard wearing and, at this time of year, the polos are probably in the sale which should bring them into your budget.
That would make it a W registration plate - could be valuable to someone if it was their waist size and initials.
I guess all things must end. Many thanks for a great forum Eddie, I hope you continue to prosper and that Carol makes a full and speedy recovery.
Here's my old work calculator - it was the bees knees in the early 80s.

Yes, it's tidy but there seems very little sense in it. It really should be ordered in some way, for instance alphabetically (manufacturer or contents) or by packaging colour or meal time...
Excellent review Wayne and, as your reviews always do, it has left me wanting one. If ever you do fancy a red one instead....
I do like Harveys Best, but if I am in a pub that sells any of the Long Man bitters as well, then the Harveys will always take a back seat.
Another vote for Clonakilty black pudding and their white pudding, if you can find that, is just as delicious with perhaps a little more pepper to it.
Indeed it is - we have friends who had a house in La Garde Freinet and spent many happy holidays there. God, there were some eccentric people living in or near that village!
