Good news on the Caribbean!
Nice looking watch. Hoped they'd do one of these in 39mm.
Been gone awhile. Rhonda 715Li sounds good. Day date preferred, but a 1,000 minimum order for the movement makes no sense (on your end). Not a date-only fan, but on a quartz, it's no big deal. ...
It is going to be a tough call between a white dial Everest and a white dial Navigator.
Really like the B version w/o date and the C version. But I think C would work better with a black on white date wheel. And maybe a cyclops.
Looking very nice, Eddie. I love that yellow with blue bezel (even if the yellow really is a soft orange.) But the black, blue and orange (bright orange one) look really good, too. Frankly, I'd be...
Congratulations.
I like it. Tough choice between this and the Precista PRS-10.
The Precista has better specs. And...ugh, 18.5 mm? Seriously? But this CWC offering has a more pleasing case, and an interesting...
Nothing short of being compelled, under pain of death, to buy either a smart watch, or the Steinhart abomination (The Watch That Shall Not Be Named) posted here by Papa Hotel.
I very much wish I had never seen that.
My enjoyment of life has been every so slightly, yet noticeably, diminished.
Erm...here in the US, among the younger folks, "TF" when texting not-so-subtly abbreviates "WTF?" Just a heads-up.
Well, I did buy the Mido Ocean Star Tribute. I am very pleased with it. And it had indeed quelled, at least for the time being, my desire for the Doxa 200 and the Sinn 104, much to the relief of my...
8.2 seconds and I cannot unsee that. :uncomfortableness:
Received mine on Wednesday. I'll try to post a couple of pics over the weekend. Very happy with it.
If it's the size of the standard Aquis, at 43 mm or so, it'll wear small, more like a 42.
And I generally do not like gradient or fume dials, but that watch is gorgeous.
And just got the DHL notice. Should have it here in CT on Thursday.
I'm kinda hung up on the old aluminum bezel & pip and "Marinemaster" on the dial. And that "X".... <sigh> If I go for a MM300, it's going to say "Marinemaster."
I've given some more thought...
Still waiting for the DHL shipping notice over here in the States. I'm sure it will show up sometime in the next couple of weeks, or should I say fortnight?
That looks very sharp.
I have a black, no-date, 12 hour bezel coming in.
Looking forward to it greatly.
Beautiful. My favorite of the new Sub 300 offerings. Congratulations!
Ugh. I hadn't even noticed that. On the black dialed version, it should be a black date disk with white writing. As it is, it looks awful. The white wheel looks OK on the white dialed version.
...
Those pics did not make that black dialed version look very appealing, and that was the one I thought I'd like best, on the basis of the previous images I'd seen. The proportions of hands & hour...
Definitely going to reduce the collection by about 10 pieces.
But I do also have a few watches I am very interested in:
Smiths Caribbean is at the tip of my list.
The Speedbird, or...
Just think of that with the BLUE bezel. :smug:
