I've put mine on a Steveostraps leather strap. Very comfortable. It's unlikely I would use it in the water anyway.

Not that the rivets bothered me.

I suspect it might be more to do with money laundering. Pay for the watch in full. Then purchaser decides not to proceed. Asks for money to be returned and, hey presto, purchaser then has "clean"...

Ouch. I have a brown leather strap on order (not Tudor!) that I will try the GMT on. I'm actually finding the bracelet quite comfortable but I had a BB Red on a similar strap and it looked great.
