Just for some background info. I am not passionate about watches, my daily watch is a Garmin Fenix 3 sports tracker. I have bought quite a lot...
I was getting a bit worried about where it was going after episode 2&3 but it's unravelling nicely now...I'm hooked!

I suppose the simple answer is, sell them as watches and pray that the new owners will cherish them.
I did say in my first post that I 'wanted to sell' them to put the money towards something I would wear.
My 2 options are just stick them on eBay and they will probably be bought for scrap. Or get...

Today I set about sorting the horrendous strap out. The Caribbean has flared lugs so I had to adapt a bracelet I had in the cupboard. I took a file to the end...
Of course! As soon as the sun comes out and I get this cast of my broken wrist so I can actually wear the damn thing!!
Cheers
You have really captured the beauty of the dial in your pictures, excellent!

This was a rather unexpected purchase for me a few weeks back, a Jenny Caribbean 1500 dating from around 1969.
It was offered to me by a friend and at the time I knew nothing about Jenny's. Luckily...
Reassuring to know that they are out there. I will spread my subscriptions to a few more AD's.
None of the AD's I went to even mentioned a deposit, not that I want to go that route as I want to try...
Get a used Garmin Fenix 2 off eBay. They are an excellent GPS multi activity watch. Bluetooth/Garmin Connect compatible. Excellent battery life. Pair it with an HRM if that's your thing.
I know this is a desirable watch at the moment. I have got my heart set on one but being new to this 'waiting game' is there any tips you guys have of securing one?
I want to buy from a AD. I have...
An Englishman is at the top of the watchmaking world. And his mentor was probably the greatest watchmaker ever. Swiss & German...lol!
Yep, problems for me too. Keeps forgetting my email login details & loses my wifi access point when waking from sleep. Never had a single problem with Mavericks.
Proper, original pie & mash... Broadway market, hoxton street, roman road, bethnal green road. All within striking distance of that unmentionable football ground. COYS!
