    I love the look of the 1987 CWC SBS Diver re-issue. But I am not willing to pay 900.– for a Quartz watch.

    I have no issue with a seiko nh36 or similar...

    I have no issue with a seiko nh36 or similar Japanese movement.
    The only thing the ETA does better is the day and date change. It changes instantly, not like the seiko that needs hours.

    I absolutely understand the requirements set by the MOD for the SBS Diver Watch to be Quartz back in the 80s. There were good reasons for that.

    Automatic Version

    What I always missed at CWC was an automatic version of the SBS diver.
    So if you would consider an option for an ETA 2836-2, I am in!

    I do agree with you, the numbers are not lumed...

    I do agree with you, the numbers are not lumed and therefore should be white.

    Nevertheless I think the watch looks great. But it's to expensive.

    Wow, realy nice watch.
    I know it's probably not correct concerned the history of the watch but I would love to see that version with an automatic movement.
