Where might you send them? I’ve got a pair of leather soled Timberlands which are lethal in the wet.

Alternatively a cobbler could stitch a leather loop (as often found on trainers) for lace to go through.

I don't see the need for them in SE either. Okay in the countryside but not the more formal styles that seem popular on TZ.
