If you've a co-founder with strong Scottish connections, who's had a belly-full of the way England's toxic culture and politics is now headed, and sees a very real possibility of Scottish...
My 321 (1967) does over sixty hours on a full wind... I also remember being blown away when I first noticed... :smug:

They had their big jump (from approx £3k to £4k) over a year or so around and after discontinuation and this was driven largely by hype and no small measure of speculative buying. In truth they've...
To be fair, if you're going to quote the OED, you ought to quote the whole* definition for balance (where you will see it can be used quite correctly with no necessary reference to quality as defined...
Any Sea Dweller

A Pre-Moon (cal.321) Speedy pro or as said a date/non-date Sub... these are probably the safest bets out there and should be worth a reasonable bit more over 10+ years than what you'll pay for one...
On deciding I wanted a Rolex, it was this issue that forced my hand into going for an SD... and I'm really pleased it did.
I ended up buying a black M1 and a yellow Seawolf ... then along comes you and pulls it all off with just the one watch!
Clever... very clever... (and superb of course ;)
B1 was going to be my suggestion until I saw your "sub-dials on the face" qualifier... a B2 would then be the obvious choice for me.
It's a far more versatile and robust watch than a Navi...
The forum darling... probably... with the Speedy Pro not far behind.
Then by now you'll know that discussing HD handling prowess is a bit like discussing how good chewing gum is as a bathroom sealant.

I'm feeling some of the pangs already mentioned by some of you in this thread about rare and/or vintage.
In nearly 20 years I doubt I've given the OP's question a second thought, having enjoyed...

I agree that no consensus can be achieved on this thread (that is, in terms of the debate; the poll appeared quite conclusive). Also, to perpetuate any further dissection of what was essentially a...
Given the quality of your reasoning earlier in this thread, I don't quite understand where your last conclusion comes from. (Unless it's a throw away remark because you don't like the question but...
