The older 5 digit models are far nicer looking in my opinion compared to the newer more jewellery like 6 digit references.
It makes you wonder who is responsible for pricing them as they are way out of touch!
What references are actually sought after at the moment. GMT, Daytona?
Do you think it's that many?
No smooth on oyster.
SS DateJust Blue motif and Silver dial for sale in the AD window today.
That is a lot of the models now with the exception of only a few.
🤣
From my understanding apart from the Daytona, GMT and Sub LV the rest of the models sell into the trade now in or around retail.
It’s just not worth all the hassle advertising on SC at even trade buy in price on a newish Rolex.
Prices are definitely softening but still above retail from my enquires to the trade when considering selling a Green Bezel Submariner.
The couple of AD’s I have used over the past 2 years have not required any sort of interview.
It’s all been very straight forward and just a case of going in and registering interest then...
Agreed, it was always difficult to get a Daytona even when ever other watch was in the window and offered at a discount.
It was roughly 2 or 3 months for the OP36 and while collecting it mentioned an Explorer. The following day received a call asking did I want a Explorer as it had been turned down by a few on the...
I wouldn’t say it’s anything great. Give it a few months and they will be available from the AD windows!
Yes OP36 and Explorer 1.
There are certainly coming through from the AD’s with like to no effort. I understand from the SA many people who have been on lists are now passing.
I have received 2 watches over the last week...
It won’t be long now until those exhibition models are offered for sale the way the market is tanking.
Plenty for sale they are just not in the windows!
It’s not wishing thinking on my part as I personally couldn’t careless if every AD window was full with stock tomorrow morning.
As I said it’s only a rumour I have heard.
What I have heard is that Rolex Regional Managers have been ask informed there AD network of large shipments to each over the coming months.
I guess we will all see soon if the rumour has any...
No models that will be for sale if the rumour is true.
There may be quite a few in the AD’s windows from next month is the rumour circulating has any truth in it.
If its M&W then they are exhibition models and not for sale.
I could not disagree more...
I think the OP range are the nicest models (subjective) in the Rolex catalogue at the moment, its true understated class.
Most of the GS's on the other hand are...
