Thank you, been tracking these for a while now, so glad to have found one.
Thank you, went back to Darren for additional negotiations and here we are. I must do a pros and cons type review as a lot of discussion on this watch is mixed between those who love the revival...
Keeping the Speedmaster theme going, only something smaller and lighter than the standard moonwatch.

It a cycle Wes that I have been through several times. A few purchases at once, an initial period of enjoyment followed by Jesus, how much have I spent followed inevitably by something getting the...
A very slippery slope. Nice GMT and serif insert Wes.
Very nice Wes, lucky you.
If you get bored and want a quick flip, give me a shout
And a bezel that turns both ways on the GMT
That is impressive record keeping.
We need a SOTC. You have been building up quite a collection.
I remember the days when queuing up outside the G Shock shop was enough to keep you happy.
It’ll be a Platinum Daytona next...
Looks good. Is that the one your mate was selling?
A CWC is not for life, just Christmas :icon_biggrin:
Most of the dealers offer 10% if you sign up for updates etc, but I didn’t see anything above that.
Cheers, I also like the Wimbledon dial which I think looks smart with the green Roman numerals, but the lack of lume (hands only as I recall) lets it down in my opinion.
The 41 does have more front than Rhyl, they are big watches.
Not obtained from the usual sources. Bought it off the guy who fitted my kitchen. He is my sons best mate and has arranged a fancy...
I do tend to favour 40mm watches, but the 41mm version was a big watch. The smaller bezel area does tend to make the dials on the 36mm and 41mm versions look that much bigger.
Thank you.
Had the 41mm version a number of years back with the Oyster bracelet and plain bezel and didn’t keep it very long. Like many others, I think the quintessential Datejust should be 36mm with a Jubilee...
Very nice indeed. I have been keeping an eye out for a nice example. Watches of Whitby have a nice tritium one with a faded serif insert which I keep going back to look at.
On fantasy island I...
What happened to being passed to the grey market for a brown envelope stuffed full of readies, someone will face the sack for this.
Absolutely, why settle for one when you can have both.
I’m guessing starting a no more flipping thread is on a par with putting £20 on Liverpool to win the PL at the start of the season
I think that was my old watch if I’m not mistaken. I bought it new without the bracelet and sold it to Tim. If it came from an Italian AD that’s the fella. The other clue would be the two hex...
Very nice and no worries of an aged Quartz movement packing up on you, which often happens to the 42 year old G10s. I do prefer the old CWC logo.
Thank you. I think it’s a configuration that some thought Rolex wouldn’t do. I remember when the white gold BLRO first came out with the ceramic insert and oyster bracelet and people thought there...
Thank you.
