Personally I prefer the standard GW5000 rubbery bezel and strap. I tried a metal bezel version last last and it wasn't to my taste.

Tried that - but there was too much strap sticking up to live with!
Its a lovely thing
I was very disappointed with the strap length which is why I moved mine on. Too long for me and I couldn't cope with the end bit sticking up. If only they made it the same...
Good point
Yes, slightly different shape which is why the bezels aren't interchangeable - mainly due to the spacing of the pushers, the 5000's being closer together
The 5000 wears slightly differently to a 5610 due to the extra weight of the steel case and the screw back which makes the case ever so slightly taller.
I didn't like it at first - now I prefer it...
I am beginning to think that along with my Explorer the GW5000 is my exit watch. In fact if I had to have only one I am pretty sure it would be one of these. In fact I rarely wear the Explorer these...
I don't name my watches but if I did this one would be Orac.

I am in total agreement
Have moved over to solar atomics for all of mine and I use the auto light most nights - I keep my watch on when in bed.
Im not really a badge person
Which is a good thing looking at those prices!
Looks good - I want one
(What is it?)
I dread to think what that might be
I hear from the original supplier that he should be getting some more in soon
Its a bit hit or miss with him as to what they actually fit!
The clear and...
Being as its a GW5000 I think I will hang on to it
Shame the yellow 30th ones aren't gloss
Canadian eBay seller
Brand new but not sure whether its genuine or not
£35 plus import duty
He didn't have many and sold out quickly
Wish Id bought a couple!
Took me a while to track down a transparent jelly bezel and strap that would fit the GW 5000
Im wearing it now and for some odd reason I really like it, odd because I cant take to the coloured...
Its a new DW-5600-1VER to which Ive fitted a new orange jelly bezel and strap bought from a chap in Canada
The strap is nice and comfy with a softer feel to it than the original - not as rubbery...

Glad you like it Ken
I needed to let something go to balance the books and Im pleased that its remained within the forum
Which leaves me with the DW5030, DW5035 and GW5000

Has anyone sourced replacement bezels and straps for these gold 35th Anniversary ones?
Tiktox and PacParts don't have them listed
Thanks for the heads up Matt - Ive just ordered the last one!
Sorry - I had forgotten to mark this as sold
Yes, 30th anniversary edition. Paperwork states 23.9.13 as the manufacturing date.
I bought it not because of 'collectability' but the fact that I like the rose gold / copper accents and the more...

Where did you source the gold lettering one as a matter of interest Matt?
The two main reasons that I haven't been chasing more limited edition and / or brightly coloured variants is the lack of gloss finish and difficulty in sourcing spare bezels and straps.
I have...
