It's been hard work! Nearly gave it up last year due to the weather, blight and probably leaving things for a bit too long without proper attention.

With an unseasonably warm start to the year, we've made good headway on the allotment getting it ready for the coming season.

We've been battling to keep our looking nice. The black suffers terribly with going grey.
Found some sealant stuff that seems to be working OK, how long it'll last remains to be seen.

Ah, good job. I'm probably going to be slabbing at the same time, so will likely set the posts then build around.
Is it sandstone slabs you've got?
Looking good! I'm under instruction to provide a similar erection next year.
Are the uprights attached to the slabs, or just resting on? I guess it's sturdy/heavy enough for the latter?
That is quite a difference! I guess this rather variable weather is helping
