A Sharkhunter T-Graph would do it for me (though I'd likely be on bread and water for a year) - perhaps I'm the only Doxa fan/owner who doesn't like the orange dial!!
Should be a good market for a traditional simply styled chrono, vintage sized 38mm-ish and decent L2L. Much like the Guinand in fact I guess, or the watch featured on the 'Another one for next year'...
Roll on next year - already saving my pennies....once the Caribbean done with whats next on the vintage diver list? A F-L Deep Blue style?
Homage to the Zenith SubSea and the ilk - 44mm x 50mm. Any chance of a Smiths interpretation of the smaller sized version of this case 38 or 40mm?
Lol - I had one and sent it back too under their no-quibble return policy, not that there was anything wrong with it at the price but overall there was just something...... and the lugs were a bit...
1/4 of a mm? looks more like 2.5mm....
Farer also claim that the water pressure impacts on their case and seals in a similar way to a super compressor to increase water resistance (thus the 'Aqua Compressor'?)- don't know how much truth...
Got mine yesterday and only got two issues with it - the first very minor one is the date wheel sits a little below the dial so you can see part of the number before and after .... and the second...
No info on the L2L though the review says the lugs are 'short and stubby' which suit me just fine. I think I like the hex crown though no doubt it might be awkward to get a grip of. Also agree about...
Any thoughts on the new 'Weems' style Aero Commando and Aero Scientific from Undone? Review on them by Time and Tide - 40 mm, one a traditional dial, one a 'military' style dial both Seiko powered...
lets see the pics!!
That looks better! Still looks to have a good heft about it - the 18mm strap helps. Mine due to the wilds of north east Scotland next week
Does look a lot bigger than 40mm in those pics!
Is that a Nato or a curved end rubber strap?
As someone else said - great pics and it sure suits your wrist!
Didn't go for one myself because I'm not a fan of matt/blasted cases but reconsidering now! From the other pics, seeing as how the...
Did seem to be a problem ordering the Baby Willard right at the start - couldn't get a price to load for it initially and then after a few tries came back as sold out. Tried the Baby Dreadnought just...
Think I might be prefering the Baby Speedbird to the Navigator with its longer lugs - though I understand the reason they are longer
LOL Too much excitement for me nowadays on a Sunday! I'd told myself if I didn't get one I'd buy an Airman 36 - just as well I had one more try before I did!!
Order gone thru now - ,ust have been a problem..
I got the same - clicking away like mad from 2 on the dot and wouldn't show a price in shopping basket and wouldn't complete cos less than £8 - by 2.03 said all sold out !! What a bust - I'm thinking...
Suppose you could say the maker puts a bit of himself into each of his watches....
Or maybe a modern version of the Victorian mourning brooches
Looks good - any chance of different colour versions in the future like the Caribbean .... or adding the Smith's boobies branding to match the rest of the range?
Think I'll be opting out of the...
Is that a bead blasted case or brushed?
Is there a reason for not using the now standardised Smiths name and logo on the Baby Willard as per the other proposed homages (Navigator, Caribbean, Omega Seamaster ...)- or is it just to make it...
