I notice the specs call for bead blasted hands. That might help with legibility. I'm pretty sure my old PRS-10 had polished hands. Looking forward to these becoming a reality.

    When?

I've been wanting one of these for years. Please keep the date option. When can I order? (Am I allowed to ask that?)

    Re: 'Watch' Travel Case

Smart multi-tasker approach. How has it worked in practice? Have you traveled with it yet?
    Thanks for the idea.

    Re: Glycine Combat on Lumpy

I don't think it stands out in a bad way at all, and it looks like a quality piece. But I do think fewer, larger links might suit that watch better than the smaller links. It's certainly not "bad" to...

Re: Advice re Purchasing from America

Pardon my ignorance, but how does this work? If I sell a watch on eBay USA and ship it to someone in UK, they get hit up for taxes on a used item? Is this based on declared value or estimated value?...

    Re: birth year watches...???

There's something neat about a tangible reminder of a time near your birth. What were styles like? What was technology like? What albums, movies etc. came out at that time? I don't have one yet, but...

    ETA 2824

Silly newbie question, but one that keeps me awake at night

An incoming watch (which apparently is coming by boat - taking forever) is built with an ETA 2824 movement. I did some...

Re: Watches you haven't quite bought

PRS-29 - I think I want it. Haven't had a manual wind watch... wondering if autos and quartzes have spoiled me.

    Re: MTB question

Are you going to keep this bike for a long time? If so, invest in a Chris King headset clone, like one of the sealed Cane Creek models. Or just pony up for a King ($90).
I had a Chris King make it...

    Re: F1 watch watching

As another poster noted, I noticed that Massa actually wears his sometimes - I'm surprised both he and that watch can fit in the car! I think the other driver whom I've noticed wearing a timepiece is...

    Re: New Strap Help

If dressing it up is a goal, I might try a textured strap in black or brown. Maybe a gator type calfskin or something along those lines. Just has to be on the thick side to work properly with your...

Re: Precista - a match for the Isofrane

Something about the thick, drilled lugs works really well with that strap. :thumbright:

Re: Show me your gym watch!
