Lovely watch - but the sandals.....:BLACK2:
That's the business!
Seiko's first chronograph and IMO the best looking watch they have ever made. So cool and stylish.
I have one too.
...
Here's another oldie and quite a rare model.
Seiko Silver Wave Z from Decemeber '78.
Should have dusted it. :dispirited:

The case looks just like the 007 at first glance but they have slightly different dimensions to the quartz.
Apropos of nothing I think the quartz is a far better choice as a beater/tool watch.
Nice Derek.
That's small judging by the crown.
What's the diameter?
How interesting - thanks for that.
So those watches are put together with a mix of Daini/Suwa parts then? Rather unusual I guess as the factories were usually in competition with each other.
A...
But why a Suwa signed dial?
This is what I expect of a Daini dial, the lightning streak.

Aren't they Suwa?
I always thought Daini was more of a lightning streak?
That looks very rich.
I like that dial. Almost like a gold nugget.
There are Pulsar Spoon watches, and Pulsar is part of Seiko. :wink-new:
I daren't let my imagination run wild. :unconscious:
Thanks mate.
It's a sort of pale blue/grey linen finish.
Probably my childish sense of humour but the logo at the bottom of the dial always makes me laugh. :wink-new:
I have an old Type II with the same single crystal logo.
...
That's a lovely old vintage.
Love the script dials.
I could see that is not original as the hands almost match the indices. :unconscious:
I really like the look of these Andrew - reasonably priced too.
I'm fancying the black one.
Just bought a used Prospex today - this one.
Love the look and the colour scheme.

Couldn't agree more. :eagerness:
That's a lovely clean example Bill.
Thanks for the info Jo.
I'll see if I can adjust it.
Just had the camera out so took a few snaps of some different vintages I don't think I have shown before.

Found these two old soldiers in a box yesterday.
My late Dad bought the left hand one new in 1979 and the right hand one was bought by me new in 1981.
Put new batteries in them (surprisingly...
That's lovely Jim.
I've got one of those with the Sea Horse back. Had the Olympic back too.
One of my favourite watches.
...
NATO's are always comfortable on Seiko divers IMO.
Love your yellow dial. :eagerness:
