Surely if it is an iron-gall ink it is dangerous for your pen, and should not remain in it for extended periods of time. It'll also corrode the paper eventually (might take a few hundred years...
I second that. I also have Herbin, Parker Quink, Sheaffer Skrip, Aurora, Pelikan, Lamy, Private Reserve, Mont Blanc, and Waterman, but if I could only have one brand it would be Diamine, no doubt...
