My wrist is about the same size as yours, and when I got my Datejust I looked at the 34 Date too. On my wrist I couldn't tell the difference in size, and both fitted nicely.
I've only still got a gshock, an SKX013 and a Vostok that I got brand new.

Brilliant news for you and your family!
I'm in for £10.

My job has recently incorporated a 400 mile round trip once a week. So I resigned today and feel brilliant.
Saab 9-5 seat were fantastic - comfy, warm and adjustable.

Thingvellir - to see the continental plates.
Reykjavík - visit the hot dog stand by the water; see if there is a concert on at the Harpa; try to book a whale watching trip.

Absolute legend - he performed heroic deeds during a terrible time. My mother's family were from Czechoslovakia so I feel especially in awe of his acts. He was someone who made a real difference in...
That I still wear - my Speedmaster, which I bought in 2008.
Oldest, but has been stuck in a box for years - my old Traser H3.
Count me in! Lovely gesture and brilliant way to get us all involved in helping out a little bit.
There's a user on PistonHeads called ecain63 who does watches - I've never used him, but he's got a place in Bournemouth.
I tend to work with geeks/engineers, and in my meeting today I've seen a Tag chrono, Tissot T-Touch, Breitling Evo and a shiny fashion watch.
Old pic, but I've been wearing it for a few years now as a gym, swimming, painting sort of watch and its been brilliant:...
The orange looks a good match - very nice
